Ariana Grande Sparks Frenzy with Latest Studio Selfies

Arianators are on high alert after Ariana posted a new batch of Instagram selfies on March 18. At first glance, the shots looked like standard behind-the-scenes glam, but fans quickly zoomed in on the background. The acoustic panels and textured walls appear to match the studio where she recorded some of her biggest hits. For many, it’s the first real sign that she’s back in the booth in 2026, sending the “eternal sunshine” era into overdrive. After a stretch of focusing on film projects and R.E.M. Beauty, the sight of studio headphones around her neck again has social media convinced that a new sonic chapter is coming.
The timing feels especially deliberate, with her Eternal Sunshine world tour set to kick off later this year, and many are wondering whether new material could be released before then. If the studio-wall detectives are right, a surprise drop could land just in time for the first tour date.

Lorde Splits From UMG After 13 Years
In a series of candid voice memos sent directly to her fans on Wednesday, March 18, Lorde revealed that she is a fully independent artist. The New Zealand singer-songwriter shared that her long-standing contract with Universal Music Group, a deal she famously signed when she was just 12 years old, officially came to an end this past December. While she was quick to praise the team at UMG for an "amazing experience," Lorde admitted that the reality of a pre-teen signing away her creative output before even knowing her own artistic identity was a heavy weight to carry. For the first time in her adult life, Lorde is operating without a major label safety net, a move she describes as a necessary "clean slate" to protect her vision.
This shift into independence has clearly sparked a creative fire, with Lorde telling fans that she feels a newfound sense of "openness and possibility." Although she hasn't ruled out signing a new deal in the future, hinting it "could well be with Universal" again, she emphasized the need for a moment where nothing coming from her is being "bought or sold." As she navigates this transition, the sense of inspiration is palpable, marking 2026 as the year Lorde finally takes the wheel of her own career.

Netflix Eyes Global Arena Tour for ‘K-Pop Demon Hunters’

Fresh off a historic night at the Oscars, Netflix is reportedly looking to take its animated juggernaut on the road. Following Sunday’s double win, where the film secured Best Animated Feature and the viral hit “Golden” took home Best Original Song, sources indicate that the streaming giant is in active talks for a massive “K-Pop Demon Hunters” world tour. The proposed live experience aims to capitalize on the movie’s status as Netflix's most-watched film of all time, transitioning the fictional group’s high-octane performances from the screen to major global arenas.
While Netflix has officially declined to comment, insiders suggest the tour would target 10,000 to 20,000-capacity venues across dozens of major cities. The goal is to launch the trek next year as a high-profile primer for the film's highly anticipated sequel. With Bloomberg reporting that promoters are already dangling tens of millions of dollars in upfront guarantees, the project is shaping up to be one of the most ambitious crossover events in streaming history.

Selena Gomez Joins Miley Cyrus for Hannah Montana 20th Anniversary Special

Miley Cyrus has confirmed that fellow Disney icon Selena Gomez will join the guest list for the upcoming Hannah Montana 20th Anniversary Special, premiering March 24, 2026, on Disney+. Crediting Call Her Daddy host Alex Cooper for orchestrating the "impossible" reunion, Miley admitted she previously underestimated the deep emotional connection fans feel toward their long-standing friendship. The special is set to be a full-circle moment for Cyrus, who will open the show by driving from her actual home in Malibu to the soundstage, a symbolic nod to the loss and rebirth of her real-life residence and its connection to Hannah’s fictional Malibu house. Between revisiting iconic sets and performing "Best of Both Worlds" for the first time since 2008, Miley revealed that stepping back into her alter-ego’s shoes felt like "riding a bike," even playfully shutting down attempts by backup dancers to modernize the original choreography. "It ain't broke," she joked during rehearsals, "don't fix it!"

Best New Track: “Click Clack Symphony (feat. Hans Zimmer)” by RAYE

RAYE keeps it super her. She moves too fast to pin down. “Click Clack Symphony” is just another turn in her anything-goes approach to music.
“WHERE IS MY HUSBAND!” pulled serious numbers (600M+ on Spotify) and still gets spun at the club. This album feels like it’s reaching for something bigger than just a night out. Even more so with Hans Zimmer in the mix (????) He scored “Interstellar,” by the way. Is this what pop’s been missing? Yeah, probably.
“Click Clack Symphony” is a five-minute triumph that swells into a massive outro. It’s the closest she’s landed to that “Escapism” high. That outro hits — it’s basically the cover in motion: hold on, let go. It’s a mini film in song form.
“The cold never lasts, my darling / It just teaches the heart how to burn,” she sings over sweeping violins and synths that push everything sky-high.
Grab your headphones, hold your ground, next week it all hits. “THIS MUSIC MAY CONTAIN HOPE” the album comes out March 27.
