BTS V Breaks Silence on Leaked Private Messages Used in Min Hee Jin vs. HYBE Court Case

V (formally known as Kim Taehyung) for Celine
On Friday, a screenshot of a private KakaoTalk conversation between former ADOR CEO Min Hee Jin and BTS member V surfaced in court amid an ongoing lawsuit between Min and HYBE over her right to sell HYBE shares.
The exchange, revealed as part of the legal proceedings, appeared to suggest that V agreed with Min Hee Jin’s allegations that ILLIT had committed plagiarism.
V swiftly denied the interpretation, stating that his remarks were intended as words of empathy during a private conversation with an acquaintance. He also criticized Min Hee Jin for submitting their private exchange as evidence in court without his consent, calling the move inappropriate.

Favorite New Music This Week
It seems summer has officially arrived, as this week with “RUDE!”, Hearts2Hearts bottle high-teen mischief into three effervescent minutes of pop. The track rides a bouncy, refreshing beat and elastic bassline, punctuated by glittering synths that glow as neon-bright as the MV’s pop-art sets, at moments recalling Girls' Generation in their glossy prime. Rather than leaning on a bombastic EDM drop, the song thrives on chant-heavy hooks and teasing vocal pivots: sweet one second, talk-sung and side-eye sharp the next.
Visually, the music video mirrors the track’s punch with hot-pink backdrops, graphic overlays, and tightly framed choreography that amplifies its bratty wink. “RUDE!” champions rebellion; not the grand, destructive kind. Instead, it argues that being bold, outspoken, even “RUDE!,” doesn’t require sacrificing femininity; you can be defiant and soft all at once.
