Bulgaria has officially claimed its first-ever Eurovision crown after singer Dara stunned audiences and voters alike with the explosive anthem “Bangaranga.”

The historic victory marks a major milestone for Bulgaria, which only joined Eurovision in 2005 and had been absent from the competition in recent years. Dara’s winning track, described by the singer as “pop music with folklore bones,” blended modern dance production with imagery inspired by kukeri, a centuries-old Bulgarian ritual involving masked performers dressed in fur and bells.

As the song climbed the scoreboard throughout the night, the meaning of “bangaranga” itself became one of the evening’s biggest talking points. Dara later described the phrase as “a special energy that everyone has got in themselves.”

The landmark 70th anniversary edition of Eurovision took place in Vienna following Austria’s victory last year, drawing more than 10,000 fans inside Wiener Stadthalle and millions more watching worldwide.

But the celebration was not without controversy. Several countries, including Ireland and Spain, boycotted the competition over the continued participation of Israel amid the ongoing conflict in Gaza, reigniting debates around politics and the contest’s neutrality.

Despite the tensions surrounding the event, Bulgaria’s breakthrough win ultimately became the defining headline of the night, delivering one of Eurovision’s biggest surprise victories in recent memory.

WHO declares public health emergency amidst Ebola outbreak in Congo and Uganda

The World Health Organization has raised global alarm over a growing Ebola outbreak in Democratic Republic of the Congo, officially classifying the crisis as a public health emergency of international concern as infections continue to spread across the region.

Health officials say the outbreak, centered in the eastern province of Ituri, has already resulted in around 246 suspected cases and 80 reported deaths. While the WHO clarified that the situation does not currently meet the threshold for a pandemic-level emergency, the agency warned the outbreak could be significantly larger than current numbers suggest.

The virus involved is the rare Bundibugyo strain of Ebola, which currently has no approved vaccine or targeted treatment, increasing concerns among medical experts.

Cases have now been identified across multiple health zones, including Bunia and nearby gold-mining communities, with one confirmed infection also detected in the capital city of Kinshasa after a traveler returned from Ituri.

The outbreak has already crossed borders. Neighboring Uganda confirmed two Ebola cases, including a 59-year-old man who later died after testing positive for the virus.

Ebola symptoms typically begin with fever, fatigue, muscle pain, and headaches before progressing into vomiting, diarrhea, rashes, and internal bleeding.

With fears of wider regional transmission growing, international health authorities are now racing to contain the outbreak before it escalates further.

Law Roach is officially returning to the world of touring with Ariana Grande, revealing that he will once again serve as the costume designer for the pop star’s highly anticipated upcoming tour.

The celebrity stylist shared his excitement about reuniting with Grande after helping shape the visual identity of her last tour seven years ago. “I am the costume designer for Ariana Grande’s tour. The new tour,” Roach said, adding that he was immediately flying back to Los Angeles to begin fittings for the production.

“It’s a reunion for us, our creativity and our love for each other,” he continued. “And this new album is so good. It is quintessential Ariana, and I think her fans are going to be really excited to hear the music and to see the show.”

Roach also reflected on how much both he and Grande have evolved since their previous collaboration.

“We’re grown now,” he said. “Seven years is a long time to not have a tour or not to perform for huge audiences.”

He praised Grande’s personal and artistic growth, calling her “maturation as an artist and as a woman” incredible, before adding, “I’m just so grateful that she chose me to come back and to collaborate with her for it.”

Chase Infiniti and Tyriq Withers are continuing to fuel romance speculation after being spotted together at several high-profile events in recent months.

According to a source close to Infiniti, the actress is currently “having fun and dating,” though neither star has publicly confirmed the nature of their relationship. “She’s in a really good place and enjoying herself like any young woman,” the insider shared.

The pair’s recent appearances have only intensified fan curiosity. Earlier this month, Infiniti and Withers were photographed together at the Formula 1 Grand Prix in Miami before reuniting days later at GQ’s post-Met Gala celebration, which Infiniti cohosted alongside Damson Idris and LISA. Withers also attended the premiere of Infiniti’s Hulu series The Testaments earlier this year.

Romance rumors have followed the duo for months, especially after Kerry Washington shared a selfie featuring both stars at the NAACP Image Awards.

Infiniti previously laughed off dating speculation during an Oscars interview, saying, “The internet is the internet.” She then explained that she and Withers had simply been spending more time together within the same Hollywood circle.

Now, it appears the friendship has blossomed into something more, making Infiniti and Withers one of Hollywood’s newest young couples to watch.
