Dua Lipa weds Callum Turner

A new chapter has begun for Dua Lipa and Callum Turner, with reports indicating the longtime couple quietly exchanged vows in London over the weekend.

Rather than opting for a star-studded spectacle, the pair reportedly chose a more understated celebration, gathering with close family and friends for a private ceremony at the historic Old Marylebone Town Hall. The wedding marks the latest milestone in a relationship that has steadily captured public attention since the couple were first linked in early 2024.

While both have spent the past two years navigating busy careers, their romance has unfolded largely away from the spotlight. An engagement in 2025 fueled speculation that wedding plans were already underway, though neither star publicly revealed details about the ceremony beforehand.

Fashion, however, remained firmly in the spotlight. Lipa reportedly embraced a modern bridal aesthetic, stepping away from a traditional wedding gown in favor of a tailored Schiaparelli couture ensemble. Turner complemented the look with a classic navy suit, creating a polished and contemporary wedding-day style.

The celebration may not be over just yet. Reports suggest the newlyweds are preparing for an extended gathering in Sicily, where friends and loved ones could join them for several days of festivities.

For now, fans are celebrating the news that one of entertainment’s most talked-about couples has officially made it down the aisle.

‘Heartstopper’ dog Echo crosses the rainbow bridge

Fans of Netflix’s Heartstopper are mourning the loss of one of the show’s most beloved stars, though he never delivered a single line of dialogue.

Echo, the border collie who portrayed Nick Nelson’s loyal companion “Nellie” throughout the hit series, has died after a sudden battle with brain cancer. The heartbreaking news was shared by his owner, Leonie, who revealed that the dog’s health declined rapidly following what initially appeared to be a minor balance issue during a routine walk.

According to Leonie, Echo had shown no warning signs before his diagnosis. Just a day earlier, he had been active and spending time with family. Within days, however, his condition worsened dramatically, eventually leading to paralysis on one side of his body. Scans later confirmed the presence of brain cancer, and the difficult decision was made to put him to sleep on May 18.

For many viewers, Echo became an unlikely breakout star of Heartstopper. As Nellie, he was a constant source of comfort for Nick, played by Kit Connor, and appeared in some of the show's most tender moments.

Series creator Alice Oseman paid tribute to Echo, writing that he was “very special to so many” and would always be remembered for the joy he brought both on-screen and behind the scenes.

Though his role began as a last-minute casting opportunity after another dog became unavailable, Echo ultimately became an unforgettable part of the Heartstopper family, leaving behind a legacy that continues to resonate with fans around the world.

‘Love Island USA’ contestant kicked out for using racial slur

Just days before a new season of Love Island USA was set to begin, producers found themselves facing another controversy that has become increasingly familiar for the franchise.

Contestant Vasana Montgomery has been removed from the upcoming season after videos resurfaced showing her using a racial slur. The decision comes before the show's eighth season premiere, preventing Montgomery from appearing on the series altogether.

According to Peacock, the footage was not publicly available during the casting and vetting process. The clips reportedly surfaced only after Montgomery was announced as part of the cast, prompting swift action from the streaming platform.

The development extends a troubling pattern for the reality dating series. Last year, Season 7 was rocked by multiple contestant removals tied to offensive language and racial controversies. Yulissa Escobar exited the show shortly after its premiere when an old video containing a racial slur resurfaced online. Weeks later, fellow contestant Cierra Ortega was also removed after backlash over the use of an anti-Asian slur.

Alexa Demie confirms she has no plans of retiring from acting

Despite months of online speculation, Alexa Demie is making it clear that reports of her retirement have been greatly exaggerated.

In an interview with The Hollywood Reporter, the Euphoria star has pushed back against rumors that she plans to leave acting behind after the show's final season, explaining that the claims stemmed from old comments about the challenges she faced as a young Latina actress trying to break into Hollywood.

While Demie admits there was a time when she questioned whether the industry had a place for her, she says those frustrations never translated into a genuine desire to quit. “Knowing me, I never would have quit,” she said. “I’m more of the energy of like, ‘No, I’m going to show you I can do it.’”

The rumors gained traction largely because of Demie’s unusually private approach to fame. Since becoming a breakout star through her portrayal of Maddy Perez, she has largely stayed out of the spotlight, granting few interviews and carefully choosing her projects.

That mystery has only intensified as Euphoria prepares to come to an end. According to creator Sam Levinson, viewers should leave the series feeling that Maddy is “finally free” when the credits roll on the finale.

As for Demie herself, she isn't revealing much about what comes next.

“There are goals, and things that I want, but I’m choosing to keep that private,” the actress said.

If anything, Demie’s comments suggest she isn't closing the door on Hollywood. Instead, she's simply choosing to move forward on her own terms.
