Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor Arrested

In an unprecedented development for the British royal family, Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor was detained Thursday morning on allegations of misconduct in public office. His arrest coincided with his 66th birthday, when plainclothes officers and unmarked vehicles raided Wood Farm on the Sandringham Estate, his recent residence after eviction from Royal Lodge. Although Andrew has consistently denied involvement with Jeffrey Epstein, the investigation reportedly focuses on claims that he shared confidential government documents with the financier while serving as a UK trade envoy.

The incident has caused ripples at the highest level, with King Charles III issuing a rare, pointed statement that emphasized “the law must take its course.” Despite the serious implications of a monarch’s brother being detained, the King aimed to distance the royal family from the controversy, reaffirming that they remain committed to their duties. For survivors and critics, this event marks a significant moment of increased accountability. As Virginia Giuffre’s family remarked, the news is a reminder that “no one is above the law, not even royalty.”

Lana Del Rey Confirms ‘Stove’ Is Coming Soon

Lana Del Rey has confirmed that her tenth studio album is still titled Stove. In a personal video message to fans, she said the record is “coming soon,” but admitted that vinyl production delays have pushed the release back by several months. The update comes on the heels of her surprise third single, “White Feather Hawk Tail Deer Hunter,” which dropped on February 17th. Co-written with her husband, Jeremy, and produced by longtime collaborator Jack Antonoff, the track arrived with a cinematic music video and joins “Henry, Come On” and “Bluebird” as the third preview of this new era.

In classic Lana fashion, she explained her choice to release the song mid-week instead of on a standard “New Music Friday,” saying she doesn’t want it to “get lost in the sauce” of a crowded release slate. She also described the timing as symbolic, lining up with Mardi Gras and a vivid pink-and-red sky during a solar eclipse.

Taylor Swift Makes History as IFPI’s Global Artist of the Year

Taylor Swift has once again claimed her throne, being named the Biggest-Selling Global Artist of the Year 2025 by the IFPI. This marks a historic sixth win for Swift, and her fourth consecutive year at the top, meaning she has now won the award as many times as every other artist combined over the last decade. Her dominance in 2025 was fueled by the success of her 12th studio album, The Life of a Showgirl, and the record-breaking tour documentary The End of an Era.

The IFPI Global Artist Chart also highlighted a diverse year for international music, with K-pop powerhouse Stray Kids hitting a career-high at #2 and Bad Bunny securing his sixth consecutive year in the top five. Notable debuts and re-entries included Tyler, The Creator at #12, driven by massive vinyl sales, and Lady Gaga returning to the top ten for the first time since 2020.

Hudson Williams Joins Carrie-Anne Moss for Supernatural Drama ‘Yaga’

Hudson Williams is set to reunite with Crave for the network’s debut half-hour drama series, "Yaga." Adapted from Kat Sandler’s acclaimed play, the series reimagines the Slavic myth of Baba Yaga through a modern lens. Williams stars as Henry Park, the missing heir to a fishery empire, alongside a powerhouse cast including Carrie-Anne Moss, Noah Reid, and Clark Backo. The narrative follows a private investigator as he navigates a labyrinth of ancient magic, secret lives, and enigmatic suspects in search of the truth.

Best New Track: White Feather Hawk Tail Deer Hunter”

Lana Del Rey has finally dropped the first single from her long-in-the-works new album, which—after a few title switches—seems to have landed on Stove.

She’s teaming up again with Jack Antonoff, the guy behind some of her most loved records Norman F*cking Rockwell!, Chemtrails Over the Country Club, and Did You Know That There’s a Tunnel Under Ocean Blvd. They usually make something special together, and this time it leans a lot darker.

“White Feather Hawk Tail Deer Hunter” starts with this weird, uneasy sound that kind of freaks you out a little. The accompanying video features Lana sticking her head inside a stove, a stark image that feels like a clear nod to Sylvia Plath, who famously died in the same way.

There’s a dark, almost Sleeping Beauty kind of feel in the chorus, and somehow it still manages to be insanely catchy. “Whoopsie-daisy, yoo-hoo, yelling ‘I love you’,” she sings. It has no business working this well but here we are.

Now we just wait for Stove to finally drop.
