Manon Reassures Fans as Katseye Moves Forward Following Hiatus News

KATSEYE star Manon Bannerman is leaning on her global fanbase after announcing a temporary leave from the group. On Thursday, the 23-year-old singer posted a simple but emotional message on Instagram Stories: “I love you all more than words could describe.” The news comes after a whirlwind week for the breakout group, which just scored its first Grammy nominations. While labels HYBE and Geffen cited health and well-being as the reason for the pause, Manon told fans on Weverse that she is healthy and okay, while hinting that “sometimes things unfold in ways we don’t fully control.”
The hiatus hits just as the six-piece was gearing up for a packed run of global promotions, including major festival slots at Coachella and Lollapalooza South America. As Manon steps back to recharge, the remaining five members will continue all scheduled activities. Despite assurances that the break is temporary, the announcement has fueled wider discussion about the pressures of the pop industry, with fans rallying behind hashtags like #StandWithManon to show their support.
The Rock & Roll Hall of Fame 2026 Nominees Unveiled
The Rock & Roll Hall of Fame has just pulled back the curtain on its 2026 nominees, and it is a fascinatingly broad snapshot of the music that has shaped the last few decades. For the first time, we see heavyweights like Phil Collins, Lauryn Hill, and Pink on the ballot, alongside the rap innovators of the Wu-Tang Clan. There is also a bit of a family reunion theme bubbling up; both Oasis and The Black Crowes have made the cut, proving that a long-awaited reconciliation can finally punch your ticket to the Hall.
What makes this year’s selection feel particularly human is the inclusion of late icons whose influence has only grown with time. Jeff Buckley, whose cult classic Grace continues to haunt new generations, joins R&B legend Luther Vandross as a first-time nominee. They sit alongside returning favorites like Mariah Carey and Sade, who are both vying for induction after narrowly missing out in previous years. We’ll find out which of these legends officially joins the ranks when the final inductees are revealed this April.

Heated Rivalry Sets a 2027 Return

If you’ve been scrolling through hockey romance edits, it’s time to settle in: the "yearn" is officially on. Heated Rivalry creator Jacob Tierney and executive producer Brendan Brady confirmed on CBS Mornings that season two is in the works, though it won’t arrive until April 2027. The team is deep in the writing process, with filming set to begin in August. Tierney, known for Canadian hits like Letterkenny, emphasized that the long wait comes from a desire to honor the source material and fully adapt the complex, decade-spanning love story between Shane Hollander and Ilya Rozanov that fans fell for in Rachel Reid’s books.
The news lands during a breakout moment for the show’s stars. Connor Storrie (Ilya) is hosting Saturday Night Live this weekend, while Hudson Williams (Shane) has joined the cast of the Crave mystery thriller Yaga alongside Carrie-Anne Moss. At the same time, author Rachel Reid announced that her upcoming book Unrivaled, the next chapter of Shane and Ilya’s story, is also moving to a 2027 release to prioritize her health. It’s a lot of waiting for fans, but as Brady pointed out, the anticipation is part of the experience; if Shane and Ilya could wait years to go public, viewers can handle a few extra months for their return.

The Weeknd Teases Fifth Collaboration with Ariana Grande

The Weeknd has sent the internet into a tailspin after a cryptic social media trail suggests a fifth collaboration with Ariana Grande is on the horizon. Posting from an Instagram account widely believed to be his private "finsta," @gene.hackerman, the singer highlighted the pair’s decade-spanning history of hits, from the early pop of "Love Me Harder" to the chart-topping "Die For You" remix. By following the list of their four previous tracks with a suggestive ellipsis and a fifth emoji, Abel Tesfaye has effectively confirmed that the duo’s storied creative partnership is far from over, leaving fans to wonder if this new mystery song will arrive as part of his own upcoming final chapter or a fresh project from Grande.

Best New Track: “Nothing Left” by Bruno Mars

Bruno Mars is baaaack. It’s been weeks and we’re still running the No.1 hit “I Just Might” into the ground. Bring the flowers, the chocolates and the earbuds.
It’s been nearly 10 years since a proper Bruno Mars album—Silk Sonic doesn’t count here—and The Romantic finally breaks the drought. It’s a tight nine-song run, and not a second of it skimps on the love. Mars’ voice does most of the work.
The first track that really stood out to us was “God Was Showing Off.” It’s that flirty concept that someone can be so good-looking it looks heaven-sent. “Ooh you made me wanna sing Hallelujah!” he gushes in the bridge. The way he finds a melody feels almost ordained. Maybe we’re not just praising him here?
But where The Romantic really lands is “Nothing Left” which starts off in a way that brings “Grenade” to mind. That makes sense—that’s still the gold standard of his love songs.
“Nothing Left” is Mars trying to make things right and hold on to what they’ve got. He’s a lover, through and through… We’ll even goes as far as to call him The Romantic.
