K-Media Debunks Jimin and Song Da-eun Dating Rumors After Viral TikTok Clip

Rumors about BTS’s Jimin and actress Song Da Eun resurfaced this week after a TikTok video, allegedly showing the two meeting in front of an apartment elevator, went viral. The clip fueled speculation that the actress was visiting Jimin’s residence, reviving dating rumors that first began in 2022.

Over the years, fans have pointed to supposed “evidence” such as matching items, Instagram stories, and subtle hints from Song Da Eun’s posts, which only added to the buzz. Both Jimin and Song Da Eun have consistently remained silent on the issue, while Big Hit Music has declined to comment.

However, new reports from Korean media have clarified that the rumors are false. Sports Chosun revealed that Song Da Eun was recently seen interacting with another man during a livestream, suggesting she is actually dating someone else. Netizens also pointed out inconsistencies in the speculation, such as Jimin’s residence timeline and Song Da Eun’s posts predating his move. Despite her past social media activity drawing controversy, evidence now indicates there is no connection between her and Jimin.

Favorite New Music This Week

GIRLSET “Commas” Cover Image

VCHA has officially rebranded as GIRLSET, and the transformation is striking; the difference between their old and new music feels like night and day. JYP Entertainment has clearly used this redebut as a chance to shift the group’s direction toward something sharper, more polished, and Billboard-ready if pursued with consistency.

Their redebut single, “Commas,” is the clearest sign of this change. The track opens with a buzzing synth that runs throughout, adding weight and fullness reminiscent of aespa’s signature style. While the melody and lyrics could be considered “good enough” on paper, the song possesses an addictive pull that sneaks up on the listener, the same quality that turned KATSEYE’s once-divisive “GNARLY” into a fan favorite overnight.

The only drawback is its brevity. At under three minutes, “Commas” feels almost like an introduction rather than a fully realized single. In fact, it might have been stronger as an album opener. Still, the track succeeds in showcasing GIRLSET’s revamped identity and potential.
