Jimmy Kimmel Returns to ABC After Brief Suspension

Jimmy Kimmel has returned to his late-night talk show after he was briefly suspended for comments he made about the death of conservative influencer Charlie Kirk. The suspension, issued by Disney, which owns the network, came after the company deemed some of his remarks "ill-timed and thus insensitive." After a series of "thoughtful conversations" with the host, Disney announced its decision to reinstate the show just days after it was preempted.
The abrupt suspension of Jimmy Kimmel Live! sparked a nationwide debate over free speech and was met with widespread protest. The American Civil Liberties Union (ACLU), various writers and actors guilds, and hundreds of Hollywood creatives rallied behind Kimmel. A letter of support was signed by numerous celebrities, including Ben Stiller, Jennifer Aniston, Meryl Streep, and Robert De Niro, who called the suspension a "dark moment for freedom of speech in our nation." Despite his reinstatement, Sinclair, the largest ABC affiliate group in the U.S., announced it would replace the return of the show with local news programming on its regional stations.
Doja Cat Unveils ‘Vie’ Album Cover
Doja Cat has unveiled the official artwork for her upcoming album, Vie, which is set to be released this Friday. The cover depicts the artist in a white, flowing dress, suspended in a tree by a parachute. The striking image has drawn some criticism from her fanbase, to which Doja Cat responded on social media. She stated, “You can't make me feel bad for a cover that has visceral meaning. The greatest armor is love and integrity. I forgive your harsh criticism but for me I won yet again for following my heart. If i was you, i wouldn't.”
The album marks a return to pop music for Doja Cat, following the rap sounds of her previous records, Scarlett and SCARLETT2CLAUDE. The project features production from Jack Antonoff and George Daniel. Doja has been promoting the album through a series of "CLUB VIE" nights across the globe, which have included surprising fans by appearing in unexpected locations like telephone boxes.

Trump Makes Disputed Claim About Tylenol and Autism

U.S. President Donald Trump has stated that doctors will soon be advised against prescribing the pain reliever Tylenol to pregnant women, claiming a disputed link between the drug and autism. The President said on Monday that taking Tylenol, which is known as paracetamol elsewhere, "is no good" and that pregnant women should only take it in cases of extreme fever.
Medical experts and organizations have strongly pushed back against the President's claims, calling his comments dangerous. The American College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists disputed the link, stating that the claim "is not backed by the full body of scientific evidence and dangerously simplifies the many and complex causes of neurologic challenges in children." The organization added that past studies have shown "no clear evidence" of a direct relationship between the use of acetaminophen during pregnancy and developmental issues.
