John Cena officially said goodbye to the WWE ring on Saturday night, delivering an emotional farewell that marked the end of a career that shaped professional wrestling for more than 20 years.
The 16-time world champion headlined WWE Saturday Night’s Main Event at Capital One Arena in Washington, D.C., where a packed crowd gathered to witness the final chapter of one of the company’s most iconic figures.
Cena closed his in-ring career against Gunther in a grueling, hard-hitting main event that lasted nearly 24 minutes. In a result that stunned much of the audience, the match ended not with celebration, but with Cena tapping out, a rare and sobering finish that underscored the finality of the moment.
The true farewell unfolded after the bell. As Gunther left the ring, Cena remained seated at center canvas, soaking in deafening chants of “thank you, Cena.” He eventually dropped to his knees and kissed the mat, a quiet but powerful gesture that symbolized his final goodbye to the ring that defined his legacy.

Hailee Steinfeld and Buffalo Bills quarterback Josh Allen are preparing for a major new chapter. The couple is expecting their first child, a milestone Steinfeld quietly shared in a personal way rather than a traditional announcement.
The actress and singer revealed the news through her Substack newsletter, Beau Society, published in celebration of her 29th birthday. In a reflective list of things she loved over the past year, Steinfeld ended the post with a video filmed in the snow in Buffalo, where she and Allen stand together as she reveals her baby bump, confirming the pregnancy.
Steinfeld and Allen have been together since 2023 and made their relationship official with an intimate wedding ceremony in California this past June.
‘Heated Rivalry’ star François Arnaud claps back against Jordan Firstman

François Arnaud is pushing back against criticism aimed at the intimate scenes in HBO Max’s sports romance Heated Rivalry, after comedian and actor Jordan Firstman questioned the show’s depiction of gay sex.
Arnaud, who stars as professional hockey player Scott Hunter, addressed the criticism directly on Instagram. Responding to comments made by Firstman, he wrote, “Is there only one way to have ‘authentic’ gay sex on tv? Should the sex that closeted hockey players have look like the sex that sceney LA gay guys have?” His post quickly gained attention as fans weighed in on differing experiences within the LGBTQ+ community.
Co-star Hudson Williams, one of the show’s leading actors, also joined the conversation by resharing Arnaud’s message on his Instagram Story. While backing his colleague, Williams struck a conciliatory tone toward Firstman, adding, “But truly go watch ‘I Love LA!’ Jordan and the cast are great!!” The gesture suggested support for diverse queer projects even amid disagreement.
The exchange followed Firstman’s remarks in a recent Vulture interview, where he contrasted Heated Rivalry with his own series I Love LA.
Speaking candidly, Firstman said, “Yeah, we’re going for it. It’s gay,” before adding, “I’m sorry, I watched those first two episodes of ‘Heated Rivalry,’ and it’s just not gay. It’s not how gay people f–k. There’s so few things that actually show gay sex.”

Chelley Bissainthe has confirmed that her relationship with fellow Love Island USA alum Ace Greene has come to an end.
The reality TV star shared the update nearly five months after leaving the villa, opening up about the split during an appearance on SiriusXM’s Page Six Radio. During the interview, Chelley revealed that the decision was mutual and not taken lightly.
“Ace and I actually decided to part ways,” she said. “It really was a tough decision, like, for the both of us, and very hard to decide.”
Chelley explained that the breakup came after careful reflection, emphasizing that there was no single dramatic breaking point. Instead, she described it as a choice rooted in emotional honesty and maturity.
“But, you know, when you love someone, sometimes loving someone means letting go. So I think we just got to a decision that was best,” she added.
