Stray Kids’ Seungmin will not perform with his group at the Governors Ball Music Festival in New York on June 6, JYP Entertainment announced.

According to the agency, Seungmin was diagnosed with a stress fracture in his left ankle in March. On Thursday, the company provided an update on his condition, saying he has been focusing on recovery and treatment and will undergo ankle surgery soon.

Due to his treatment and recovery process, Seungmin will sit out the festival. The remaining seven members of Stray Kids will proceed with the scheduled performance without him.

Ahn Hyo Seop makes music debut with Khalid collaboration

Ahn Hyo Seop, known for his role in “Business Proposal” and as the voice of Jinu in the Netflix series “K-pop Demon Hunters,” has made his official music debut.

The actor released “Something Special” on Friday, a cross-cultural collaboration with American singer-songwriter Khalid. The track blends K-pop and R&B influences, creating a genre-spanning sound centered on a theme of destined romantic connection.

While the collaboration may come as a surprise to some fans, Ahn Hyo Seop has previously expressed a strong interest in music. “Music has been a hidden passion for me for a long time,” he said in a recent interview with The Korea Times.

Ahn Hyo Seop trained under JYP Entertainment, home to acts such as TWICE, Stray Kids and NMIXX. And he has also performed on soundtracks for “K-pop Demon Hunters” and the K-dramas “Top Management” and “A Time Called You.”

Jungkook, BTS’s lead vocalist and global ambassador for Calvin Klein, has collaborated with the brand on his first clothing line, the company announced on Monday.

According to Calvin Klein, the idol has been involved throughout the creative process, from the initial concept discussions to the final design details. The ’90s silhouette-inspired capsule collection features Calvin Klein staples with Jungkook’s personal touches and includes a CKJK logo (short for “Calvin Klein and Jungkook”) on each item.

The collection includes trucker jackets, baggy low-rise jeans, graphic T-shirts, sweatshirts, and racer jackets.

The line launched on Calvin Klein’s online store on Monday and quickly sold out. The company has not announced whether a restock is planned.

Favorite New Music This Week

Since their lineup change earlier this year, ZEROBASEONE have finally returned with their first comeback as a five-member group. While fans continue to miss the four members who are now part of AND2BLE, the music itself remains sonically cohesive and showcases a more mature side of ZEROBASEONE’s sound.

The seven-track mini album “Ascend-” opens with the darker, synth-heavy “Intro.,” which sets the tone for the project’s sleek and atmospheric direction. The cheekily titled lead single “TOP5” is a groovy dance-pop track infused with R&B influences, leaning thematically more toward Bruno Mars’ “Just the Way You Are” than Kendrick Lamar’s “Not Like Us.”

V for Vision” continues the album’s R&B-driven sound while embracing a more sultry tone. The next track, “Customize,” co-written and co-produced by Gunwook, stands out as one of the strongest songs on the project, an edgier and more energetic pop anthem that balances sharp production with emotional intensity.

Exotic” raises the tempo with sleek electronic production and performance-focused energy, while “Changes” slows things down with softer vocals and sentimental lyricism. Closing track “Zero to Hundred” delivers a nostalgic synth-pop finale that feels both uplifting and cinematic.

Despite the group’s transition period, “Ascend-” succeeds in redefining ZEROBASEONE’s identity without losing the qualities that made the group appealing in the first place.
