Chappell Roan Shrugs Off Red Carpet Controversy Following Grammy Look

Chappell Roan has officially entered the Grammy fashion history books, though she doesn’t seem to understand what all the fuss is about. The “Pink Pony Club” singer dominated social media conversations on Sunday after hitting the red carpet in a sheer red chiffon Mugler ensemble that was held together by nipple rings, leaving very little to the imagination. While the look sparked a fierce debate online, with some critics calling for her to be banned and others praising her as a “goddess,” Roan took to Instagram to laugh off the pearl-clutching, telling her followers that she didn’t even think the outfit was “THAT outrageous.”
The pop star encouraged her fans to embrace the “weird” and “silly,” framing the daring fashion choice as a simple exercise of free will. Despite the mixed reactions, Roan remains unfazed, ending her post by thanking the Recording Academy and those who voted for her during her breakout year.
Kelly Clarkson Bids Farewell to Daytime TV to Prioritize Family
After seven record-breaking seasons and 24 Daytime Emmy wins, The Kelly Clarkson Show is officially coming to an end. Kelly Clarkson announced that she’s decided to step away at the end of the current season to focus on her two children, following the passing of her ex-husband, Brandon Blackstock, in 2025. The show has become a daytime TV staple, known for its “Kellyoke” covers and “Songs & Stories” specials, but Clarkson shared that stepping back from the demanding daily production schedule is “necessary and right” for her family’s next chapter.
The final episodes will air this fall. Although Kelly is leaving the hosting chair, she reassured fans that she isn’t disappearing from the spotlight. In a heartfelt statement, she hinted that she’ll keep releasing music, performing live, and may even make future appearances on The Voice. For the rest of Season 7, production will continue as planned, with a lineup of special guest hosts helping to celebrate the show’s legacy of inspiring stories and powerhouse performances.

Animated "Stranger Things" Spin-off "Tales From ’85" Reveals New Teaser

The world of Hawkins is heading into animation with the first teaser for Stranger Things: Tales From ’85, premiering April 23. From showrunner Eric Robles (Glitch Techs) and the Duffer Brothers, the series fills in the gap between seasons with a story set during the winter of 1985. The gate to the Upside Down may be closed, but the new footage teases a fresh kind of “science meets matter” monster breaking through the ice. The teaser also offers a first listen to the new voice cast, with Jeremy Jordan (Hazbin Hotel) stepping into the role of fan-favorite Steve Harrington.
The series introduces an all-new voice lineup for the Hawkins kids, including Brooklyn Davey Norstedt as Eleven and Braxton Quinney as Dustin. Robles says the show will dive into “untold stories” as the group tries to hang on to a normal routine of Dungeons & Dragons and snowball fights, until a terrifying new threat emerges from the depths of Hawkins Lab. Produced by Flying Bark Productions and 21 Laps, the project also features Janeane Garofalo, Lou Diamond Phillips, and Odessa A’zion in mysterious, still-undisclosed roles.

Glambot Creator Cole Walliser Benched from Grammys Following Email Controversy

The 2026 Grammy Awards went on without Glambot director Cole Walliser on the red carpet. Per Variety, E! did not hire him following backlash over a viral “cold” interaction with Jennifer Lopez and a leaked 2019 email in which he allegedly mocked a prospective bride’s ability to afford the Glambot, joking it could cost up to $1 million. Although Walliser apologized for his “curt” tone and blamed burnout, insiders at Versant (formerly NBCUniversal) said his behavior clashed with the company’s professional standards, prompting a rethink of its red carpet strategy.
