Gracie Abrams Named the Face of Chanel’s New Coco Mademoiselle Crush Absolu

As she releases her new album, Daughter From Hell, Grammy-nominated singer-songwriter Gracie Abrams has secured the ultimate fashion crown. Chanel has named the indie-pop darling the face of Coco Mademoiselle Crush Absolu, the latest ambery, vetiver-and-vanilla-infused addition to the house’s iconic fragrance line. It is a natural evolution for Abrams, who has been a devoted front-row mainstay and official house ambassador since attending her first Chanel show back in 2022. The brand praised her as the perfect muse for the new scent, stating that her "liveliness" and "unfussy refinement" perfectly capture the modern, effortless attitude of Coco Chanel herself.

For Abrams, stepping into the legendary spotlight of the Coco Mademoiselle legacy is nothing short of a dream come true. "It’s unreal to be the new face of Coco Mademoiselle. I feel an immense sense of pride," she shared, expressing her admiration for the brand’s namesake. "I love that Coco is someone who leaves a mark everywhere she goes. Sometimes, I wish I could be more like her." Between headlining her own massive music era later this month and fronting one of the world's most prestigious luxury beauty campaigns, Abrams is leaving quite a massive mark of her own.

‘The Batman Part II’ Delayed to 2028

Warner Bros. and DC Studios have once again shuffled their release schedule, delaying The Batman Part II from its original October 2027 slot to February 18, 2028. This marks the second significant delay for Matt Reeves’ highly anticipated sequel, which was initially set to debut in late 2025 before the Hollywood strikes disrupted production timelines. Despite the extended wait, the studio is optimistic about the new winter release, citing the success of the first film, which grossed $770 million globally in early 2022. The delay allows additional post-production time and sets the stage for a lucrative holiday weekend opening.

The change in schedule is part of a larger theatrical realignment that also sees J.J. Abrams’ upcoming sci-fi fantasy, The Great Beyond, move into the now-open October 1, 2027 slot. This marks Abrams' return to directing since 2019, and the film will feature a premium IMAX rollout, including an exclusive two-week 70mm run. As the release of The Batman Part II is pushed back, moviegoers can look forward to a packed lineup of high-profile films, even if it means a longer wait to see Pattinson's portrayal of the Caped Crusader again.
