The Met Gala 2026 Theme Is Here: It's All About 'Costume Art'!

The fashion world can officially start sketching, because the theme for the Met Gala 2026 has been announced: 'Costume Art'. Heading into its 78th year, the annual benefit will return to the Metropolitan Museum of Art under the leadership of Anna Wintour, but this time, the exhibition will debut in the brand-new Condé M. Nast Galleries. This choice is particularly poignant as it cements fashion's status as a prominent part of the historic establishment, celebrating a decade of incredible exhibitions curated by Andrew Bolton.

With a central focus on how art interacts with the human body, this theme is basically a green light for maximalist expression. We can expect the red carpet to lean heavily into breathtaking sculptural silhouettes and figure-hugging, architectural garments that showcase intense designer skill. Considering sheer dressing and body-as-canvas looks have been dominating the cultural conversation, the human form will undoubtedly take center stage, giving our favorite stars a dazzling excuse to be the most dramatic works of art in the room.

Sadie Sink To Join the Avengers Multiverse

Sadie Sink is officially entering the Marvel Cinematic Universe, and fans are already racing to figure out her role. The Stranger Things actress was confirmed to be joining the cast of the next Avengers movie, likely Avengers: Doomsday, set to begin filming in London next year, according to a report in Deadline. While Marvel has yet to make an official announcement, the news has sent the internet into overdrive speculating on who the 23-year-old might portray.

The rumors gained traction after Sink was previously cast in the upcoming Spider-Man outing, Spider-Man: Brand New Day, alongside Tom Holland. Given that the Russo brothers' next team-up film is rumored to feature a massive collaboration between the Avengers and the X-Men, many fans are now convinced the Fear Street star will step into the shoes of an iconic mutant character.

Who do you think Sadie will play in the new Avengers?

Fan Who Grabbed Ariana Grande at Wicked Premiere Gets Nine Days in Prison

The man who ran onto the red carpet and physically grabbed Ariana Grande at the Singapore premiere of Wicked: For Good has been sentenced to nine days in prison. Australian citizen Johnson Wen, 26, was captured on viral footage throwing his arms around Grande last Thursday while she walked with co-stars Cynthia Erivo and Michelle Yeoh. Erivo and security quickly intervened to pull Wen away from a visibly shocked Grande.

Wen, who has a history of stage-storming at concerts by artists like Katy Perry and The Weeknd and refers to himself as "Troll Most Hated," pleaded guilty to public nuisance charges. A Singaporean court heard that Wen had attempted to intrude on the event twice before being pinned down and arrested. Wen told the judge he would "not do it again" following the incident.

Elon Musk Hits Back at Billie Eilish’s Billionaire Challenge

Billionaire Elon Musk fired back at Billie Eilish after the singer challenged him to spend his colossal fortune on global charitable efforts. Eilish, who recently donated $11.5 million from her tour proceeds, used an infographic to suggest Musk could end world hunger or provide clean water, and later called him a "f—king pathetic p—sy b—ch coward" on her Instagram Story. Musk responded to Eilish's challenge and insults by borrowing a tactic from his former acquaintance Donald Trump, posting a message that targeted the singer's intelligence: “She’s not the sharpest tool in the shed.”
