Miley Cyrus to Contribute Original Song to Avatar: Fire and Ash

Miley Cyrus is set to contribute a newly recorded original song, "Dream as One," to the soundtrack of James Cameron’s third franchise installment, Avatar: Fire and Ash. Cyrus collaborated with heavy-hitting producers and songwriters Andrew Wyatt, Mark Ronson, and Simon Franglen for the track, which will be featured in the end credits and released as a single on November 14th, preceding the score's release on December 12th.
Cyrus shared her enthusiasm for the project on social media, emphasizing the personal connection to the film's themes: "Honored to support Avatar: Fire and Ash with an original song... Having been personally affected by fire and being rebuilt from the ashes, this project holds profound meaning for me." She noted the film's message of unity, healing, and love deeply resonated with her, calling the opportunity to contribute an original song to the Avatar universe "a dream come true." The film, which follows 2022’s Avatar: The Way of Water, stars Sam Worthington, Zoe Saldaña, and Kate Winslet, among a large ensemble cast.
Park Bom's Agency Addresses Viral Lawsuit Claims Against Former YG CEO
South Korean singer Park Bom, an ex-member of the recently reunited K-pop group 2NE1, caused significant confusion and concern this week after taking to social media to share what appeared to be a lawsuit filing against Yang Hyun-suk, the founder of her former management company, YG Entertainment. The posted photo of a document listed Bom as the plaintiff and Hyun-suk as the defendant, claiming she was suing for the astonishing sum of approximately 64.272 quadrillion won (a figure dramatically larger than the entire South Korean GDP) and accusing the CEO of "fraud and embezzlement" over unpaid profits spanning a "long period of time."
The post detailing the seemingly unbelievable financial claim was quickly deleted. In response to the ensuing alarm and media speculation, Bom's current talent agency, D-Nation, issued an immediate public statement. D-Nation clarified that the singer's settlement regarding her 2NE1 activities "has already been completed," and importantly, that the viral complaint "has not been received." The agency concluded by reassuring fans that Bom has currently suspended all activities to focus on her "treatment and recovery," and that the company is committed to helping the artist regain her health.

Post-Credits Scene in Mitski: The Land Sparks Album Speculation

Fans of Mitski who recently flocked to theaters for her new concert film, Mitski: The Land, were treated to more than just a performance of her 2023 album, The Land Is Inhospitable And So Are We. The film included a surprising post-credits scene that offers a subtle, yet unmistakable, hint about her next release.
In the brief exchange, Mitski is heard conversing with an off-camera voice who asks, “So I heard you’re putting out an album?” Playing coy, Mitski replies, “Album? What album?” When the person specifies, “The one that’s coming out in the winter, right?” Mitski responds with a seemingly forgetful air: “Did I forget something? Did I forget something?” The playful dialogue suggests that while details are nonexistent, fans may not have to wait long for her seventh studio album, potentially arriving sometime this coming winter.
🚨 mitski is questioned by someone in the post-credits scene of "the land" about a new album coming out this winter, fueling speculation that her 8th album is near!

Madison Beer to Release New Album Locket in January 2026

Pop singer-songwriter Madison Beer has announced her third studio album, Locket, set for release on January 16, 2026. She wrote and co-produced the album with collaborators including One Love and LOSTBOY, describing it as a "mosaic of memories and experiences." Beer explained that each song feels like it "lives within this metaphorical locket for safekeeping."
The announcement follows the release of a music video for the lead track, featuring actor Sean Kaufman, and a live performance at the Victoria's Secret Fashion Show that garnered 2.5 million views. Locket comes after her Grammy-nominated second album, Silence Between Songs (2023), and her 2024 single "Make You Mine," also nominated for a Grammy.
Best New Track: UNFAMILIAR HEAVENS by MARINA

MARINA drops the deluxe edition of PRINCESS OF POWER with four new songs and a remix of “EVERYBODY KNOWS I’M SAD.” We’re thrilled to step back into this digital universe.
The standard album puts Marina in a game-like realm that picks up off the 1985 video game (we think, anyway). We’ve been loving the title song all year. The hook really sticks in your head. “I lived the sweet and I lived the sour / Been living life locked up in a tower,” she sings. Just typing it has us humming nonstop. "FINAL BOSS” is the one where Marina takes down the bad guy. Who that is? Beats us. But she’s doing her own thing.
The deluxe takes these concepts and runs with them. “SEX IS POWER” literally begins with the lyric “we’re in power mode.” It seems that “HOW TO SAY GOODBYE” takes cues from “Goodbye” on the Ancient Dreams album.
We’re going with “UNFAMILIAR HEAVENS” as our top pick. Marina lets everyone know it’s finally over. “Now, my heart has changed / So I let go of the pain,” she sings.
We let go, start fresh, and call the game finished.
