Min Hee Jin is seemingly making a return to the K-pop industry, signaling a possible reunion with NewJeans.
According to a SpoTVNews report on Oct. 24, former ADOR CEO Min Hee Jin has registered a new company named OOAK Co., Ltd. The company's operations include artist management, music and album production, music distribution, and concert and event planning.
The timing of the company’s registration appears strategic, as the final verdict in the NewJeans x ADOR lawsuit is scheduled for Oct. 30.
ALLDAY PROJECT’s Annie Replaces Yoona as MBC Music Festival MC
MBC has confirmed that SHINee’s Minho, Hwang Minhyun, and ALLDAY PROJECT’s Annie will host the 2025 MBC Music Festival. Annie will succeed Girls’ Generation’s Yoona, who held the role for the past decade, marking a new era for the show.
The festival’s producer explained the decision to select Annie, saying, “K-pop is gaining attention all over the world right now. So, the new face of the Gayo Daejejeon had to be a rookie that this era is watching closely. In that sense, Annie was the most natural choice.”
The festival airs live on December 31.

2NE1's Park Bom Speaks Out Against YG Entertainment
On Wednesday, in a now-deleted Instagram post, 2NE1’s Park Bom claimed to have sued YG Entertainment CEO Yang Hyun Suk for 100,200,300,400,600,700,100,000,34’64272e trillion won, a figure exceeding South Korea’s GDP, for fraud and embezzlement.
According to Park Bom, “The defendant did not properly pay the profits generated from all activities in which the plaintiff participated, including music releases, performances, broadcasts, advertisements, events, lyric writing, and music composition. The amount is estimated to be approximately 100,200,300,400,600,700,100,000,34’64272e trillion won, which is the profit the plaintiff should rightfully receive. Despite this, YG Entertainment did not provide settlement details, and not a single proper payment was made to the plaintiff. As a result, the plaintiff suffered serious economic loss and mental damage, which clearly constitutes fraud and embezzlement.”
However, Park Bom’s agency, D-Nation, has since denied that any such lawsuit was filed. YG Entertainment also released a statement claiming that all payments due to Park Bom have already been made.

Favorite New Music This Week
With "LXVE TO DEATH", Xdinary Heroes present their most emotionally charged and sonically daring record yet.
The seven-track project dives into love’s beauty, chaos, and collapse through a striking blend of emo, metalcore, and synth rock.
Tracks like “ICU,” with its infectious energy and addictive chorus, capture the dizzying rush of love through soaring vocals and vivid emotion: “Feels dangerously close to spilling over, but I will never drop.” “LOVE ME 2 DEATH” and “FiRE (My Sweet Misery)” pulse with controlled intensity, while “Lost and Found” reveals a quieter vulnerability.
Each member refines their craft, turning turbulence into clarity and emotion into strength. True to their name, Xdinary Heroes transform the ordinary into something extraordinary, a raw, fearless exploration of connection that lingers long after the final note.
