Olivia Rodrigo Announces ‘You Seem Pretty Sad For a Girl So in Love’

After weeks of obsessive color-watching from her fanbase, Olivia Rodrigo has announced her third album via a transforming mural in Los Angeles. The public installation, which has been frequently updated with shifting gradients of purple and pink, transitioned through the word "Love" before finally settling on the album’s title: “You Seem Pretty Sad For a Girl So in Love.” The reveal marks the end of a long wait for the multi-Grammy winner’s return, confirming that the successor to the chart-topping GUTS is finally on the horizon.
Colloquially dubbed "OR3" by fans, this new chapter has been the subject of intense speculation since the 2025 festival leg of the GUTS World Tour. Sleuthing "Livies" had previously flagged potential clues hidden in the custom t-shirts Rodrigo wore on stage, and the fanbase can rest for now in the comfort of this announcement. Set for release on June 12th, in a press release, Olivia says that she is “so proud of this record.”
Artemis II Finally Takes Flight
NASA’s Artemis II mission lifted off from Kennedy Space Center on Wednesday, becoming the first crewed journey to the Moon since the Apollo program ended in 1972. Riding atop the Space Launch System, the most powerful rocket NASA has ever built, the Orion spacecraft carried a four-person international crew into orbit at 6:35 p.m. ET. Shortly into the flight, mission control reported that the crew, three Americans and one Canadian, had already finished the first checks of the spacecraft’s manual controls, an important early milestone for the mission.
The 10-day flight is a lunar flyby rather than a landing, but it’s a key step toward NASA’s long-term goal of establishing a sustained human presence on the Moon. Orion will swing around the far side of the lunar surface before heading back to Earth, putting its deep-space life-support systems through their paces for the first time in more than 50 years. The successful launch comes after a series of technical delays, including stubborn fuel leaks that had kept the rocket grounded, and marks an important comeback moment for international deep-space exploration.

Megan Thee Stallion Set for Broadway Return Following Hospitalization

Megan Thee Stallion is expected to return to the Broadway stage this Thursday following a medical emergency during Tuesday night’s performance of Moulin Rouge! The Musical. The 31-year-old artist, currently starring as the eccentric master of ceremonies Zidler, was transported to a New York hospital after falling ill mid-show. Representatives later confirmed that doctors identified "extreme exhaustion, dehydration, and low metabolic levels" as the cause, noting that she has since been treated and discharged to rest.
Addressing fans on social media the following day, Megan admitted she had been "pushing herself past her limits" and felt she was going to faint on stage before the incident. Her highly anticipated Broadway debut, which began on March 24 and is scheduled to run through May 17, marks a temporary shift from the concert circuit to the theater world. Despite the scare, the performer assured supporters she would be back for her next scheduled appearance, stating she is "ready to give 100%" to the role.

Jewish Leaders Condemn Wireless over Kanye West Headline Booking

The Jewish Leadership Council has issued a scathing condemnation of Wireless Festival for its "deeply irresponsible" decision to book Kanye West as a three-night headliner at Finsbury Park. The backlash follows the rapper's history of antisemitic rhetoric, including the release of a track titled "Heil Hitler" and the sale of swastika-themed merchandise, at a time when the UK Jewish community is reporting record levels of antisemitism. While a spokesperson for London Mayor Sadiq Khan distanced City Hall from the booking, calling West's past actions "offensive and wrong," the festival organizers, Festival Republic, are moving forward with the "three-night journey" through his discography. Despite West’s previous apologies attributing his behavior to bipolar-1 disorder, the Council maintains that providing him a platform ignores a pattern of pro-Nazi messaging and poses a direct insult to a community currently facing heightened security threats and foiled terror plots.
