Lucy Dacus to Officiate Fan Weddings Onstage During Tour

Lucy Dacus has announced she will officiate fan weddings on select dates during her Forever Is a Feeling Tour. The singer-songwriter, now ordained, suggested on social media that she would perform ceremonies free of charge to support fans in obtaining marriage rights.

Due to high interest, Dacus provided a Google Form for couples to register, including details on city schedules and marriage license requirements. The Boygenius member felt honoured to perform these ceremonies, acknowledging the many personal reasons fans might choose to formalize their unions.

Chappell Roan Teases New Single "The Subway"

Chappell Roan fans have cause to celebrate as her highly anticipated track, "The Subway," seems to be heading for release. The pop star is teasing the launch of her next single through posters spotted around New York City and a seemingly leaked music video teaser shared by a fan account. Chappell has also announced a ‘Visions of Damsels & Other Dangerous Things’ pop-up tour with shows in New York, Missouri, and Pasadena.

The 27-year-old has previously performed "The Subway" at several festivals, including Primavera Sound just last month, but a studio version has not been released until now. Posters in New York feature Roan with the playful slogan, "Going through a break up? Get bangs!" The teaser video, which reportedly shows the studio version of the song, depicts a moving truck with a "THE SBWY" license plate. As the truck drives, Roan's signature red hair is seen blowing in the wind, passing a Saskatchewan welcome sign, tying into the lyrics previewed in the clip: "I made a promise / If in four months these feelings ain’t gone / Well, fuck this city / I’m moving to Saskatchewan." "The Subway" is now expected to drop on August 1st.
