Vlogger-turned-boxer Jake Paul won against boxing legend Mike Tyson by unanimous decision in their highly-anticipated match at the AT&T Stadium.
In an Instagram post, the 58-year-old boxer shared that he had “no regrets to get in [the] ring one last time.”
“This is one of those situations when you lost but still won,” Tyson remarked.
The Hall of Famer reflected on the medical challenges he overcame over the past year before getting the chance to participate in the fight. “I almost died in June. Had 8 blood transfusions. Lost half my blood and 25lbs in hospital and had to fight to get healthy to fight, so I won.”
The fight between Paul and Tyson was originally scheduled for July this year. However, it had to be postponed for four months due to an “ulcer flare-up” during a flight from Miami to Los Angeles on May 26.
“To have my children see me stand toe-to-toe and finish 8 rounds with a talented fighter half my age in front of a packed Dallas Cowboy stadium is an experience that no man has the right to ask for. Thank you!” he added.
Meanwhile, Paul expressed his honor at being given the opportunity to fight Tyson. “He’s the G.O.A.T. I look up to him, I’m inspired by him, and we wouldn’t be here today without him. This man is an icon and it’s just an honor to be able to fight him,” he said after the match.

Victoria Kjær Theilvig, representing Denmark, was crowned the 73rd Miss Universe.
She triumphed over 124 contestants worldwide, making history as the first Danish woman to win the Miss Universe title.
Theilvig had to undergo two rounds of the question-and-answer portion, designed to showcase the contestants' charm and knowledge on a variety of topics. In the first round, she was asked how she would live her life differently if she knew no one would judge her.
“I would never change how I live my life. We learn from our mistakes. We learn every day. We learn something new and we [have] to take that and bring it to the future. That’s why I live each day by each day, and I just [have] to stay positive. So, no, I would not change nothing,” she asserted.
This answer earned her a spot in the top five.
In the final round, all remaining candidates were asked the same question: “Miss Universe has inspired generations of women. What is your message to the ones watching you right now?”
“My message to all the world that is watching out there is no matter where you come from, no matter your past, you can always choose to turn it into your strengths. It will never define who you are. Just gotta keep fighting. I stand here today because I want to change. I want to make history. And that’s what I’m doing tonight. So never give up, always believe in yourself and your dreams, and that is exactly what we are going to do,” Theilvig answered.
Chidimma Adetshina from Nigeria finished as the 1st runner-up, followed by María Fernanda Beltrán from Mexico as the 2nd runner-up. Suchata Chuangsri from Thailand then secured the 3rd runner-up position, while Ileana Márquez from Venezuela was named the 4th runner-up.
