Sabrina Carpenter’s Short ‘n’ Sweet Tour Goes Short ‘n’ Spooky For Halloween

Pop sensation Sabrina Carpenter sent her fans into a frenzy on October 30th when she emerged as a sultry Playboy Bunny during her Short n' Sweet tour stop in Dallas. The singer, known for her captivating stage presence, made a dramatic entrance, initially shrouded in a towel, before revealing her iconic Halloween costume. Clad in a sparkly black bodysuit, complete with bunny ears and a bowtie, Carpenter exuded confidence and charisma, delighting her audience with her playful take on the classic look.

The night was full of surprises as Carpenter continued to wow the crowd with her costume changes. Her second look, a spot-on rendition of Sandy from Grease, had her belting out a powerful version of Olivia Newton-John's "Hopelessly Devoted to You."

To cap off the night, Carpenter transformed into the enchanting Tinker Bell, adding a touch of magic to her performance. During her rendition of "Juno," she playfully spooked the audience with a sudden "Boo!"

Taylor Swift's Eras Tour brought more than just music to New Orleans. The pop superstar made a significant impact on the local community by donating a generous sum to Second Harvest Food Bank. While the donation amount remains undisclosed, the food bank confirmed that it will provide enough food for 75,000 meals for families in need throughout South Louisiana.

Second Harvest Food Bank expressed their gratitude on social media, stating, "When kindness meets action, magic happens. This kind of generosity reminds us that making a difference is possible, together, with people who truly care."

Swift's philanthropic efforts have become a hallmark of her Eras Tour. In nearly every city she's visited, she's donated substantially to local nonprofits. This generous trend is not new for Swift, who has a history of supporting charitable causes.

Charli xcx To Host and Perform on SNL

Charli XCX is set to make a splash on Saturday Night Live, as she takes on the dual role of both host and musical guest for the highly anticipated episode airing on November 16th. This appearance will be particularly significant for the talented artist, as it marks her inaugural hosting stint on the legendary late-night show, although she is no stranger to its stage, having graced it as a musical guest on two previous occasions.

The announcement of her hosting duties comes just after the show's lineup of prominent comedians, including John Mulaney and Chappell Roan, who are scheduled for the pre-election episode on November 2nd, followed by the comedic talents of Bill Burr and rising star Mk.Gee on November 9th.

Charli's SNL appearance is particularly exciting for fans who have seen the show's numerous references to the pop star, especially during the Brat era. Cast member Bowen Yang famously dressed as Charli in a hilarious sketch for the season premiere, hosting his own version of the "Talk Talk Show."

New Music Friday

Put your best mask on.

Tyler, The Creator released his album CHROMAKOPIA earlier this week. There is some absolutely impressive content happening in this range of songs. We’re traveling all through the rapper’s mind, paranoia and self-obsessiveness. On “Take Your Mask Off” which features Daniel Caesar and LaToiya Williams, Tyler seems to be, in the closing verse, talking directly to himself. “Boy, you selfish as f*ck / That’s really why you scared of being a parent,” he says. We have to give him our favorite release this week — if just for his vulnerability.

The Weeknd and Anitta came together for “São Paulo” which has a pretty good dance rhythm. The music video is especially interesting and a must watch.

Ethel Cain is back. She released “Punish” which is from her upcoming project Perverts that comes out January 8th. This song has a remarkable soundscape that gets electric as it goes. It just feels so haunting.

Halsey put out “Alice of the Upper Class” which is a deluxe song from The Great Impersonator. This song fits so well into the album’s concept that you’ll wonder why it wasn't included to begin. “Can’t you see that I’m an impostor?” she sings.

Shawn Mendes released “Heart of Gold” from his now delayed album Shawn. This song is about a childhood friend who passed away from a drug overdose. It’s a really heartwarming tribute to them. “When we were young / We didn’t care / We shot for the stars / I’ll see you up there,” he sings. The album can be expected on November 15th.

Oh, and the Christmas season has apparently begun. Pentatonix released their new holiday single “Meet Me Next Christmas” and Kelly Clarkson released a whole festive album in commemoration. When Christmas Comes Around…Again is full of joyous holiday song covers including “Last Christmas” and “Rockin’ Around the Christmas Tree.” She’s got all the holly jolly going on.
