The 2025 Grammy nominations are out, and they showcase a remarkable breadth of talent and creativity across the music industry. From chart-topping pop anthems to groundbreaking albums that push artistic boundaries, the nominees represent the highest level of achievement in the industry.

Female artists have made a significant impact on this year's nominations, particularly in the pop category. Beyoncé's critically acclaimed "BODYGUARD" and Sabrina Carpenter's summer hit "Espresso" are both vying for Best Pop Solo Performance. They are joined by a strong field of nominees, including Charli XCX's "Apple," Billie Eilish's "BIRDS OF A FEATHER," and Chappell Roan's "Good Luck, Babe!"

The Best Pop Vocal Album category is also dominated by women. Sabrina Carpenter's "Short 'n' Sweet," Billie Eilish's "Hit Me Hard And Soft," Ariana Grande's "Eternal Sunshine," and Taylor Swift's "The Tortured Poets Department" are all contenders for this prestigious award.

Beyoncé's versatility is on full display once again, as her country album "COWBOY CARTER" is nominated for Best Country Album. Her powerful performance of "16 Carriages" is also recognized in the Best Country Solo Performance category.

The Best New Artist category is highly competitive this year, with a diverse range of nominees including Benson Boone, Doechii, Chappell Roan, Khruangabin, Raye, Sabrina Carpenter, Shaboozey, and Teddy Swims.

Who Has Been Snubbed This Year?

Ariana Grande's critically acclaimed album "Eternal Sunshine" was surprisingly snubbed from the major Grammy categories. Despite its commercial success and critical praise, the album was overlooked for Album of the Year, Song of the Year, and Record of the Year.

The snubs didn’t stop there. Dua Lipa, a previous Grammy favourite, received zero nominations this year, alongside Megan Thee Stallion and Tyla, who have failed to gain recognition in Rap and R&B categories, and Jack Antonoff, the influential producer who has made waves this year with his work on “The Tortured Poets Department” and Sabrina Carpenter’s “Short ‘n’ Sweet”.
