In an Instagram post, actress Chloë Grace Moretz announced that she is part of the LGBTQ+ community and expressed her support for Vice President Kamala Harris' presidential run.
“I voted early and I voted for Kamala Harris. There is so much on the line this election,” remarked Moretz.
She first cited Harris’ commitment to championing reproductive rights, a stark contrast to Trump whose administration is responsible for the overturning of Roe v. Wade.
“I believe the government has no right over my body as a woman, and that the decisions over my body should come ONLY from myself and my doctor,” she said. “Kamala Harris will protect that for us,” the actress added.
She also highlighted the increasing discrimination faced by minorities–particularly LGBTQ+ community. “I believe in the need for legal protections that [protect] the LGBTQ+ community as a gay woman.”
“We need protections in this country and to have access to the care we need and deserve,” she concluded.
Cardi B speaks up against Elon Musk

Rapper Cardi B hits back at Elon Musk after the latter accused her of being a “puppet” of Vice President Kamala Harris.
The rapper recently made an appearance at the Wisconsin State Fair Park Exposition Center to express her support for the current Vice President in the upcoming presidential election. Just before her speech, Cardi B encountered a technical difficulty that caused her to pause for a few moments.
“Sorry, guys, I’m a little nervous. I’ve been waiting for this moment my whole life!” Cardi B said.
Elon Musk, a well-known Trump supporter, quoted a video of that specific moment on X, and captioned it: “Another puppet who can’t even talk without being fed the words.”
“The Kamala campaign has no authenticity or true empathy,” he added.
Cardi B promptly defended herself and responded to Elon. “I’m not a puppet Elon.. I’m a daughter of two immigrant parents that had to work their ass off to provide for me! I’m a product of welfare, I’m a product of section 8, I’m a product of poverty and I’m a product of what happens when the system is set up against you.”
“But you don’t know nothing about that. You don’t know not one thing about the American struggle,” she asserted.
Despite the brief technical issue, Cardi B's speech was a success. She discussed the challenges she faced as a woman in a male-dominated industry and linked her struggles to those of Kamala Harris, highlighting how both women had overcome their obstacles.
“Just like Kamala Harris, I too have been the underdog, I’ve been underestimated, my success belittled and discredited,” the rapper narrated.
“Let me tell you something: Women have to work ten times harder, perform ten times better, and still people question us, how we got to the top. I can’t stand a bully, but just like Kamala, I always stand up to one,” she remarked.
