NewJeans’ Parents Open Instagram To Dispute Misinformation Against The Girl Group Members
During the ongoing feud between NewJeans and HYBE, the parents of the girl group members — Minji, Hanni, Danielle, Haerin, and Hyein — have opened a temporary Instagram account, @jeanz_pr, to represent their stance on the matter.

In the first post on the account, the parents explained the need to create it, stating: "While we are grateful that some media outlets reported our statements accurately, they were very few. We also attempted to distribute statements through an agency but faced significant challenges in ensuring that our position was conveyed without distortion—such as misleading headlines altering the message."
They also claimed that ”meanwhile, the voices of the members have either been misrepresented, framed negatively, or reduced to minor news coverage. In contrast, HYBE and ADOR have been distributing hundreds of articles daily — many containing false claims or solely representing their stance — through various media outlets, including biased online news platforms, without undergoing the standard fact-checking and counterargument procedures required in reputable journalism.”
As the injunction lawsuit approaches, the parents expressed concern that HYBE will once again attempt to manipulate the media by fabricating rumors. They hope to use this Instagram account to clarify any misinformation directly.

ASND has Signed 5 Out Of 8 fromis_9 Members
After their contract termination last June, PLEDIS Entertainment’s eight-member girl group fromis_9 left HYBE. While fans, flovers, feared this marked the end of the group, the members had other plans.

On January 26, it was reported that five members—Song Hayoung, Park Jiwon, Lee Nagyung, Lee Chaeyoung, and Baek Jiheon—had signed an exclusive contract with ASND. The company also stated that they are in talks with PLEDIS Entertainment regarding the group's trademark.

Our Favorite Music From This Week
SEVENTEEN's Jeonghan released a new track, "Better Half" (feat. Omoinotake), a song as sweet as the idol's vocals. Serving as a message to Carats, its lyrics express: "Even if we’re looking from afar, we are always together, you and I / Instead of our fingers tightly intertwined / Let my voice, calling your name from afar, / Wrap around your heart gently."
Super Junior's EUNHYUK takes a walk down memory lane with his latest album, "EXPLORER," blending 90s and Y2K music influences. While the entire album is worth listening to, "UP N DOWN" is a standout.
ZEROBASEONE just dropped their first-ever Japanese album, "PREZENT," proving once again that they deserve to be a permanent group. Seriously, these vocals are no joke!
Lastly, BLACKPINK’s JENNIE released "Love Hangover" with no extended prior promotion — like the icon she is. The track's vibey and somewhat soothing nature leaves listeners wondering what’s in store for her solo album.
