PSY Under Police Investigation for Alleged Medical Law Violation

On Thursday, P Nation confirmed that “Gangnam Style” artist PSY is currently under active investigation by the Seoul Metropolitan Police. “We have actively cooperated with the authorities and will continue to take necessary measures in accordance with legal procedures,” the agency stated.

According to authorities, police raided PSY’s vehicle and agency office to investigate a potential violation of medical law. While details have not been officially confirmed, reports allege that the artist was initially booked by police in August for obtaining prescription drugs—classified substances primarily used to treat anxiety and depression—without an in-person medical consultation, a practice that is illegal in South Korea.

Rosé Signs With WME for Her Solo Career

Following the success of her global hit song “APT.” last year, BLACKPINK member Rosé has signed with William Morris Endeavor (WME) for solo career representation. Other notable artists under the agency include The Weeknd, Maluma, and Badshah.
