Rihanna and Family Targeted in Los Angeles Shooting

A 35-year-old Florida woman, Ivanna Lisette Ortiz, has been charged with attempted murder after a terrifying shooting at the Los Angeles home of pop star Rihanna and her partner, A$AP Rocky. Prosecutors say Ortiz drove up to the front of the mansion on Sunday afternoon and opened fire with a semiautomatic rifle, shooting multiple rounds at the property. Rihanna, A$AP Rocky, and several other people were reportedly inside at the time. Bullets hit the house and a neighboring property, but no one was injured. Ortiz was arrested shortly afterward at a nearby shopping center and is being held on $1.875 million bail. If convicted, she could face a life sentence.

Investigators are now focusing on a troubling online trail. The LAPD is reviewing a series of social media posts that Ortiz allegedly directed at Rihanna in the days leading up to the shooting. In one post on X, she reportedly questioned the singer’s whereabouts and demanded that Rihanna “say something directly” instead of “sneaking around.” District Attorney Nathan Hochman denounced the “careless violence,” saying such behavior will not be tolerated in the community. As the case moves forward, Ortiz faces ten felony counts of assault with a semiautomatic firearm in addition to the attempted murder charge.

'Heated Rivalry' Cast Issues Unified Stance Against Toxic Fandom

The stars of Heated Rivalry are drawing a hard line against online bigotry, issuing a rare joint statement to condemn toxic behavior within their own fanbase. Co-stars Hudson Williams, François Arnaud, and Ksenia Daniela Kharlamova shared a unified message telling fans who harbor "racist, homophobic, or bigoted" views that their support is unwelcome. The move, endorsed by show creator Jacob Tierney and author Rachel Reid, underscores that the camaraderie seen on screen is mirrored in real life, with the cast explicitly stating they are "on the same side."

Kharlamova added a personal appeal on Instagram, urging the audience to stop projecting "false narratives" onto the actors’ real-world relationships and families. Emphasizing that the cast members are "not characters," she asked fans to focus on the show's message of love rather than parasocial hostility. By calling out the "hateful love" found in certain corners of the internet, the team is hoping to reset the fandom’s culture as they move forward.

Miley Cyrus Dusts Off the Blonde Wig for "Hannah Montana" 20th Anniversary Special

Twenty years to the day after the show that defined a generation first hit the airwaves, Miley Cyrus is heading back to her roots for the Hannah Montana 20th Anniversary Special. Premiering March 24th on Disney+, the event marks the first time she has put on the iconic blonde wig and sparkly wardrobe in over fifteen years. The first trailer shows a nostalgic walk-through of recreated sets, from the Stewart family living room to Hannah’s legendary revolving closet, plus never-before-seen archival footage. Hosted by Call Her Daddy’s Alex Cooper in front of a live studio audience, the special promises an intimate, behind-the-scenes look at the “double life” phenomenon that turned Cyrus into a global star.

The “Hannahversary” is also a full-on family reunion, with Billy Ray Cyrus stepping back into his role as Miley’s on-screen dad and her mom, Tish Cyrus-Purcell, joining the celebration. While the special highlights the lasting impact of the music and the fans, it also salutes the original cast who brought Malibu to life, including Emily Osment, Mitchel Musso, and Jason Earles. In a heartfelt statement, Cyrus called the project a “love letter” to the fans who have been with her since 2006, saying that what began as a TV show grew into a shared experience that helped shape millions of lives.

Apple Previews New Emoji Roster for iOS 26.4

Apple is set to expand its digital vocabulary this spring with the release of eight new emojis as part of the iOS 26.4 update. While users can already create custom icons via Genmoji, these new additions are officially approved by the Unicode Consortium, ensuring they work seamlessly across all platforms, including Android and Windows. The upcoming set includes a mix of the whimsical and the practical: a Sasquatch (hairy creature), a cartoon-style fight cloud, a distorted face with bulging eyes, and a highly requested orca. Rounding out the spring collection are a treasure chest, a trombone, ballet dancers with various skin tone modifiers, and a landslide icon. Currently available in developer betas, the full public rollout is expected by late March or early April.
