Rosalía Announces New Album Lux, Featuring Björk and Yves Tumor

Following a cryptic global marketing campaign using teaser billboards and posters, Spanish pop phenomenon Rosalía has officially announced her highly anticipated fourth studio album, Lux, set for release on November 7th via Columbia. This new project is the follow-up to her 2022 Grammy-winning album, Motomami. While details remain scarce, a press release confirmed that Rosalía recorded the album with the London Symphonic Orchestra and conductor Daníel Bjarnason, and it will feature guest vocals from Icelandic legend Björk and experimental artist Yves Tumor, among others.
This album arrives amidst a prolific period for the multi-hyphenate star. Since the release of Motomami, Rosalía completed an acclaimed world tour and contributed to several high-profile collaborations, including singles with Björk and Blackpink’s Lisa. She has also been announced as a cast member for the upcoming 2026 season of HBO's Euphoria.
Colman Domingo Cast as the Voice of the Cowardly Lion in Wicked
Colman Domingo is off to see the Wizard. The Oscar-nominated actor has been cast as the voice of the Cowardly Lion in “Wicked: For Good.”
The casting was formally announced on the movie's Instagram account on Monday, complete with a video showing Domingo jokingly hiding behind a lion stuffed animal before confirming the news: "See you in Oz!" The announcement follows recent anticipation stirred by filmmaker Jon M. Chu, who teased that the identity of the voice actor would be a major surprise for fans, stating: "Man, wait until the red carpet when the actor who gave us the Cowardly Lion’s voice steps foot on it. It’ll be wild.”

Sombr Responds to Viral Concert Criticism

Singer-songwriter Sombr has publicly addressed a viral TikTok from a creator who criticized his recent concert. The 25-year-old concertgoer, formerly a fan, dismissed the 20-year-old musician's performance as "vulgar," featuring "cringe" stage presence and "terrible" singing, and famously compared him to "Slenderman." The creator advised anyone "over the age of 16" against buying tickets, primarily complaining about the youth of the audience and the content of the show.
In his own video response, Sombr acknowledged the "TikTok drama," stating he respected all opinions but found the criticism misplaced. He highlighted the five-year age gap between himself and his critic: "If you’re 25 years old, and you’re going to come to my concert and not expect people younger than you to be there, when I the artist am five years younger than you, it’s just a skill issue." He also specifically called out the "Slenderman" comment for initiating a wave of body-shaming against him, emphasizing that everyone is welcome at his shows and urging followers to focus their negativity on genuinely problematic targets instead.

Lily Allen Announces West End Girl, Her 'Most Vulnerable' Album Yet

After a seven-year recording break and a major life shift, Lily Allen is returning with her sixth studio album, West End Girl, set for release this Friday. The 14 songs were written in a creative burst over ten days last December, the same month the singer-songwriter moved to New York following her split from actor David Harbour and a subsequent decision to step away from her podcast for mental health reasons. Allen describes the record as a deeply personal transformation: “I’m nervous. The record is vulnerable in a way that my music perhaps hasn’t been before – certainly not over the course of a whole album. I’ve tried to document my life in a new city and the events that led me to where I am in my life now.”
