Sabrina Carpenter is using her star power for a cause. As her sold-out Short n’ Sweet Tour enters its second half, the pop sensation has chosen the Transgender Law Center (TLC) as one of the beneficiaries of her Sabrina Carpenter Fund.

The Transgender Law Center, recognized as the largest trans-led advocacy group in the United States, is dedicated to ensuring that all transgender individuals can live openly, safely, and with dignity. The organization prioritizes BIPOC, disabled, and HIV-positive communities, centering its work on community empowerment and collective resilience.

Funding from Carpenter’s initiative will help TLC maintain its Legal Information Helpdesk, which addresses more than 2,200 requests each year.

The contribution will also help sustain programs that nurture over 400 trans leaders annually, including the Disability Project, Black Trans Circles, and Positively Trans. These efforts drive forward TLC’s Trans Agenda for Liberation, focusing on leadership growth and transformative change within social systems.

Taylor Swift has once again shown her generosity by lending a helping hand to one of her youngest fans.

The singer-songwriter recently made a $100,000 donation to support the parents of two-year-old Lilah, who is battling stage 4 brain cancer. Lilah’s diagnosis came after she suffered a seizure at just 18 months old, prompting her family to launch a GoFundMe campaign in March to cover medical expenses.

Swift’s attention was drawn to Lilah’s story after her mother, Katelynn Smoot, posted an emotional video on TikTok via her account “Stand with Lilah.” In the clip, the toddler is seen lovingly calling the hitmaker her “friend” while listening to her new album.

Touched by the moment, Swift made her donation on October 17, writing a personal note that read, “Sending the biggest hug to my friend, Lilah! Love, Taylor.”

Katelynn has shared that her daughter has always found comfort in Swift’s music. "I listened to Taylor my whole pregnancy and then birthed a mini Swiftie. Lilah loves Taylor’s music and during her cancer treatment she always found joy in it," she recounted.

"I hope Lilah gets through this diagnosis and gets to one day go to a Taylor Swift concert in person. I know she would love it.”

Nationwide ‘No Kings’ rally draws millions of anti-Trump Protesters

Millions of Americans took to the streets on Saturday in a historic show of unity against what they see as increasing authoritarianism and corruption under President Donald Trump.

An estimated 7 million people participated in more than 2,700 “No Kings” rallies held across all 50 states, marking what organizers describe as one of the largest coordinated protests in US history.

Demonstrations filled major cities like New York, Washington, Los Angeles, Chicago, and Boston, while even typically conservative regions such as Billings, Birmingham, Montana, and Alabama, saw large crowds join the movement.

“Today, millions of Americans stood together to reject authoritarianism and remind the world that our democracy belongs to the people–not to one man’s ambition,” said Ezra Levin and Leah Greenberg, organizers of the nationwide event.

Major heist reported at the Louvre

The Louvre Museum in Paris remained closed on Monday following a daring theft that targeted some of France’s most valuable crown jewels. Authorities are now investigating what has been described as one of the most audacious art crimes in recent history.

The robbery took place on Sunday morning, between 9:30 and 9:40 a.m. local time, just moments after the museum opened its doors.

According to officials, four masked thieves used a vehicle-mounted mechanical lift to reach the Galerie d’Apollon (Gallery of Apollo) through a balcony overlooking the River Seine.

Once inside, two of the suspects reportedly cut through the glass panes using a battery-powered disc cutter, threatened security guards, and emptied two glass display cases before fleeing.

A preliminary report found one in three rooms in the targeted area lacked CCTV cameras, raising serious concerns about security at one of the world’s most visited museums.

“We are all disappointed and angry,” said Natalie Goulet, a member of the French Senate’s finance committee. “It’s difficult to understand how it happened so easily.”

  • Sabrina Carpenter poked fun at the controversy surrounding her “Man’s Best Friend” album cover during her Saturday Night Live appearance. “Some people got a little freaked out by the cover,” she joked in her monologue. “If you zoom out, it’s clearly a picture from the [SNL] 50th anniversary special of Bowen Yang helping me up by the hair after Martin Short shoved me out of the buffet line.”

  • Kristen Bell has turned off comments on her Instagram after facing backlash over her 12th wedding anniversary post to husband Dax Shepard. The actress shared a photo celebrating their marriage and captioned it: “Happy 12th wedding anniversary to the man who once said to me: ‘I would never kill you. A lot of men have killed their wives at a certain point. Even though I'm heavily incentivized to kill you, I never would. ❤️’”

  • Morocco won the 2025 FIFA U-20 World Cup in Chile, defeating Argentina 2-0 in the final with both goals from Yassir Zoubiri. The victory makes Morocco the first Arab and second African nation after Ghana (2009) to claim the title.

  • President Donald Trump sharply accused Colombian leader Gustavo Petro of overseeing and encouraging widespread drug production. He then announced an immediate halt to payments and subsidies to Colombia, while threatening tariffs and warning that the United States could take direct action if Bogotá does not curb narcotics output.
