Sabrina Carpenter Releases ‘Man’s Best Friend’

Sabrina Carpenter has unveiled her seventh studio album titled Man’s Best Friend, marking it as a rapid follow-up just one year after the success of her previous album, Short ‘n’ Sweet, which notably earned Grammy awards. The album includes the chart-topping single ‘Manchild’, as well as the new single ‘Tears’. The music video for ‘Tears’, released today, features a horror-inspired theme, drawing creative inspiration from classic horror films such as The House That Dripped Blood and Jennifer’s Body.
2025 has already been transformative for the pop icon, selling out arenas worldwide and headlining festivals across the globe, including British Summer Time at Hyde Park and Lollapalooza. This Autumn, Sabrina graces arenas once more with the ‘Short ‘n’ Sweet… It’s Even Sweeter’ tour hitting Pittsburgh, New York, Nashville, Toronto, and Los Angeles for a string of sold-out shows.
Ariana Grande Announces First Tour in Seven Years
Ariana Grande is returning to the stage for her first tour in seven years. After teasing the news on social media, the singer confirmed the initial dates for a major global tour via her Instagram story. The first confirmed leg includes a run of nine major cities across North America, followed by a five-night residency in London. The announcement was preceded by a teaser clip Grande shared, which was created in the style of her “Brighter Days Ahead” short film.
The highly anticipated tour will support her 2024 album, Eternal Sunshine, which debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard 200. The album's deluxe edition, released earlier this year, included six bonus songs, giving Grande a wealth of new material to perform. Her return to the stage marks a significant moment for fans who have awaited a new tour for almost a decade.

Best New Track: “Tears” by Sabrina Carpenter

Sabrina Carpenter’s career took off after the release of 2024’s mega-hit “Espresso” and she’s been going full speed ever since.
The hit packed chart dominator (and 2 time Grammy winning album) Short n’ Sweet came out a little over a year ago, and we can only imagine how intimidating it is to follow up that kind of success. Still, we think she pulls it off perfectly here.
Man’s Best Friend totally embraces Sabrina’s tongue in cheek lyric style. The pen’s familiar from Short n’ Sweet but the tip’s got a sharper curve now. There’s the absolutely, wonderfully clever “House Tour” which holds some of the album’s wildest lyric moments. “We Almost Broke Up Again Last Night” hits with some good laughs. “You say we’re driftin’ apart / I said, ‘yeah, I f***in’ know’ / Big deal / We’ve been here before / And we’ll be here tomorrow,” she sings.
But the craziest song goes to “Tears” which kicks off with the most off-the-wall lyric we’ve heard recently. It’s pretty catchy as well.
Well goodbye! Get home safe.
