Spider-Man: Brand New Day Trailer Unveiled

Tom Holland has made good on his Instagram promise, swinging back into our feeds with the first full trailer for Spider-Man: Brand New Day. After 24 chaotic hours of “Easter egg” clips popping up on fan accounts worldwide, the footage confirms Peter Parker’s fourth outing is a sharp left turn from the Homecoming era. With Shang-Chi mastermind Destin Daniel Cretton now in the director’s chair, the bright, quippy vibe of the previous trilogy gives way to a slick, cinematic moody-fest. A haunting “rebirth” voiceover plays as Holland’s Spider-Man stalks a city that has completely forgotten him, all wrapped in a slow-motion, Snyder-adjacent style that feels darker and grittier.
Swinging into theaters July 31, Brand New Day looks like the hard reset fans have been craving since the gut-punch ending of No Way Home. The trailer leans into a street-level Spidey: a more isolated, grown-up Peter rebuilding his life from scratch while web-slinging through a rain-soaked, high-contrast New York. The Stark tech is gone; in its place is a hero running on instinct and stubbornness. Between the broody visuals and pulse-pounding rescue set pieces, Cretton’s Spider-Man era kicks off with a bang, teasing a summer blockbuster that doubles as a gritty character study with a lot more bite.
BTS Tease Emotional Homecoming in First Trailer for Netflix Documentary ‘BTS: The Return’
After four years of physical separation and mandatory military service, the return of BTS is being framed as a profound emotional reckoning for both the group and their global fanbase. The newly released trailer for the Netflix documentary BTS: The Return captures the septet in a rare state of vulnerability as they reunite to record their fifth studio album, Arirang. For the members, this chapter represents a daunting "rebirth" in an industry that has shifted during their absence; for the ARMY, it is the long-awaited fulfillment of a promise made in 2022. The documentary promises to peel back the global icon veneer to show seven artists grappling with the pressure of their own legacy while rediscovering the brotherhood that Jimin describes as being "finally back where we’re meant to be."
This reunion carries a heavy weight of cultural symbolism, anchored by the group’s choice of the folk song “Arirang” as the spine of their new era, a melody synonymous with resilience and the "sorrows of longing.” By opening their process to the cameras, BTS are inviting fans to witness the literal and figurative noise of starting over, trading polished choreography for raw studio sessions and candid reflections on identity. This journey culminates in a historic, live-streamed performance at Gwanghwamun Square on March 21, followed by the documentary’s global premiere on March 27. For millions of fans, these releases signify a "homecoming" that validates years of patient waiting, proving that the group's time apart has only deepened the emotional architecture of their connection.

The Academy Blasts "Unacceptable" Behavior Following Teyana Taylor Security Altercation

The Academy issued a scorching response following a viral incident involving Best Supporting Actress nominee Teyana Taylor and a security guard at Sunday’s ceremony. In footage that dominated social media post-telecast, the One Battle After Another star was seen standing her ground against a guard she accused of manhandling and shoving her as she attempted to return to the stage for a Best Picture cast photo. "You’re a man putting your hands on a female. You’re very rude," Taylor was heard saying in the clip, repeatedly telling the individual, "Do not touch me, do not shove me."
In a statement, the Academy expressed being “extremely upset” by the confrontation, praising Taylor for the "remarkable grace" she has shown throughout the awards season. While the security personnel were from the outside firm SIS (Security Industry Specialists, Inc.), the Academy took full responsibility, stating that it had made it clear to the firm that such behaviour is "not acceptable." For her part, Taylor later told TMZ she simply won't "tolerate disrespect," refusing to let the incident overshadow a historic night for her film, which took home six Oscars, including Best Picture. SIS has since acknowledged the "incidental contact" and confirmed the matter has been addressed internally.

Rosalía Launches Immersive ‘LUX TOUR’

Rosalía officially kicked off her ambitious “LUX TOUR 2026” on Monday night at the LDLC Arena in Lyon, France, delivering a breathtaking five-act performance that felt more like a high-concept art film than a standard pop concert. Supporting her critically acclaimed album LUX, the show featured the live debuts of tracks like “Sexo, Violencia, y Llantas” alongside a stunning array of visuals, including a Marie Antoinette-inspired wardrobe and a curated ballet sequence. The 25-song setlist expertly bridged the experimental baroque-pop of her new era with MOTOMAMI favorites and a surprise, cinematic rendition of Frankie Valli’s “Can’t Take My Eyes Off You.” As the 57-date trek winds through Europe this spring, the production is already being hailed as a theatrical masterclass, setting a massive bar for her highly anticipated North American arrival this June.
