Taylor Swift donates signed guitar to charity

Taylor Swift is putting her star power behind a good cause with a special donation. The pop icon has contributed a signed guitar tied to her The Tortured Poets Department era to MusiCares’ ongoing charity relief auction.

The item up for bid is a black Epiphone SongMaker DR-100 acoustic guitar, customized with The Tortured Poets Department artwork across its body. Swift personally autographed the lower bout of the guitar with a silver felt-tip pen, transforming the instrument into a one-of-a-kind collector’s piece.

The guitar features a 25.5-inch scale neck, a bound 20-fret fretboard, and chrome tuning hardware, combining visual flair with classic acoustic craftsmanship.

According to the auction listing, 100 percent of the proceeds will benefit MusiCares, the Recording Academy-affiliated nonprofit that provides health, financial, and emergency support to music industry professionals in need.

Interest in the donation has been swift and strong, with the current bid already reaching $8,000 and expected to climb as the auction continues.

YouTube pulls out of Billboard charts

Source: YouTube

YouTube is stepping away from one of music’s most influential scorecards. The video platform announced in December that it will stop supplying its streaming data to all Billboard charts beginning January 16, a move that takes effect with the charts dated January 31.

The decision follows Billboard’s recent overhaul of its chart formulas, which further prioritizes paid streaming over ad-supported plays in an effort to mirror shifts in listener habits and industry revenue.

Billboard revealed that it is adjusting how streams are counted, narrowing the gap between subscription and ad-supported listening. Under the updated system, paid streams will now be weighted at a 1-to-2.5 ratio against ad-supported streams, replacing the previous 1-to-3 ratio.

The change also lowers the number of streams required to count as an album-equivalent unit, meaning fewer total plays will now translate into chart impact across the Billboard 200, the Hot 100, and other genre and consumption-based rankings.

Starting with charts dated January 17, an album unit will be calculated using 1,000 paid on-demand audio or video streams or 2,500 ad-supported streams tied to an album’s songs. This represents a significant reduction from earlier thresholds and reflects Billboard’s push to align chart performance more closely with subscription-driven consumption.

The Heated Rivalry breakout star Hudson Williams made his runway debut at Milan Fashion Week, stepping onto the catwalk for DSQUARED2’s Fall/Winter 2026 show and marking a striking crossover from screen to high fashion.

The actor, best known for playing hockey star Shane Hollander on the wildly popular sports romance series adapted from Rachel Reid’s novel, walked in a look that nodded directly to his on-screen roots.

His outfit blended DSQUARED2’s signature edge with clear hockey influences, turning athletic aesthetics into a polished, high-fashion moment that drew attention both online and inside the show venue.
