MET Gala 2026: Best Dressed

The Met Gala has come and gone, and the steps of the Metropolitan Museum of Art were once again filled with fashion spectacle. This year’s green carpet leaned heavily into drama and theatricality, with SZA and Beyoncé standing out right away. SZA wore a custom look that felt soft and organic but still striking, while Beyoncé made a rare appearance that immediately drew attention. Emma Chamberlain also brought her usual mix of modern edge and fashion fluency, wearing a textured look that blended archival inspiration with a younger, more laid-back attitude.
Elsewhere on the carpet, the energy never really let up. Madonna arrived in a bold, high-concept look that played with religious imagery and punk influences, reminding everyone why she remains such a defining figure in pop culture and fashion. Kylie Jenner went in a more polished direction with a sleek, archival-inspired gown that felt timeless and refined. Then there was Heidi Klum, who fully embraced the night’s sense of spectacle in an avant-garde look that was both sculptural and playful. Altogether, the 2026 Met Gala proved once again that it remains one of the biggest stages for celebrity fashion and pop culture.
Sabrina Carpenter and Stevie Nicks Share the MET Stage
The most talked-about accessory at this year’s Met Gala wasn’t a vintage gown or a million-dollar diamond. It was the arrival of the legendary Stevie Nicks. In a moment that instantly set the internet buzzing, Sabrina Carpenter brought the Fleetwood Mac icon on stage for a hauntingly beautiful duet of "Landslide." The choice felt especially meaningful given the 1975 classic’s recent resurgence after the Stranger Things finale, and watching the two blonde powerhouses trade verses in the museum’s hallowed halls felt like a true passing of the torch from the "White Witch" of rock to pop’s newest darling.
After the emotional high of the duet, Carpenter shifted into a high-energy solo set that showed exactly why she’s the girl of the moment. Running through a string of hits from her smash album Short n’ Sweet, she turned the high-fashion gala into a full-on party with infectious performances of "Espresso" and "Please, Please, Please." By the time she closed with "House Tour," the star-studded audience, decked out in their finest couture, was fully caught up in the Sabrina slipstream. It was a masterclass in balancing legacy with fun, and it cemented the night as a memorable crossover between two of music’s most magnetic eras.

Surprise "The Bear" Prequel Drops on Hulu

FX has stunned fans with an unannounced standalone episode of The Bear titled "Gary," which appeared on Hulu. This special flashback chapter follows Richie (Ebon Moss-Bachrach) and Mikey (Jon Bernthal) on a high-stakes work trip to Gary, Indiana, long before the events of the pilot. Co-written by Moss-Bachrach and Bernthal themselves and directed by series creator Christopher Storer, the episode serves as a psychological deep dive into Mikey’s deteriorating mental state and provides the missing link for Richie’s abrasive Season 1 persona. Notably, the episode is listed as its own title on the platform rather than being tucked into the existing season menus.
The surprise release acts as a heavy-hitting appetizer for the highly anticipated fifth season, which—true to the show’s tradition—is expected to arrive this June. While an official premiere date remains under wraps, the stakes for the new season are at an all-time high following recurring guest star Jamie Lee Curtis’s repeated hints that this will be the series' final act.
