ZEROBASEONE Extends Their Exclusive Contract

On Monday, WAKEONE Entertainment, home to ZEROBASEONE, released a notice regarding the group’s upcoming plans. After expressing gratitude to fans, the agency confirmed that all nine members have mutually agreed to extend their exclusive contracts with WAKEONE Entertainment for an additional two months.

This means that instead of disbanding in January 2026 as originally scheduled, the group will continue activities until March 2026, with disbandment likely to follow after the extension ends.

Idol-actor Bang Minah (Girl’s Day) and actor On Ju Wan have officially tied the knot!

The two stars first met on the set of "Dear Fair Lady Kong Shim", where their on-screen chemistry soon translated off-screen. They later reunited for the musical "The Days" in 2021 and officially began dating. In July of this year, both artists’ agencies confirmed that the couple planned to get married in November.

The pair shared their wedding photos this Wednesday, looking more radiant than ever.

XG Corona Comes Out as Transmasculine Non-Binary

On Saturday, Cocona of the Seoul-based global group XG, formerly known as Akiyama Kokona, came out as AFAB transmasculine non-binary (assigned female at birth, leaning more toward a masculine identity while not identifying with any specific gender).

In a heartfelt post, the star shared:

"Hi, this is Cocona.

Today, I turned 20. As I reach this new chapter in my life, I want to share something that’s been in my heart for a long time.

I am AFAB transmasculine non-binary.

Earlier this year, I had top surgery.

I was born and perceived as female, but that label never represented who I truly am. I live in a way that feels more masculine and true to who I am. The hardest thing I’ve ever faced was accepting and embracing myself.

But as I slowly began to do that, I was able to open a new door.

That moment changed the way I see and understand the world, and it gave me the courage and strength to grow.

Now, I can finally say, “There’s nothing wrong with who I am inside.”

I was only able to come this far because of the people who listened and stood by me, my members, Simon-san, and my parents.

I’m truly grateful for this path, and for every miracle that brought us together."

Favorite New Music This Week

Yim Siwan’s “The Reason” arrived with the kind of understated assurance that feels almost radical in today’s overstimulated pop landscape. Long praised as one of Korea’s most versatile actors, having starred in “Strangers from Hell,” “Misaeng,” “Summer Strike,” and most recently in “Squid Game” (seasons 2 and 3), Siwan quietly reminds listeners of his musical origins, channeling the sincerity that once made ZE:A such an overlooked gem. His solo album "The Reason" doesn’t chase trends or force reinvention; instead, it leans into a warm mid-tempo groove that feels intentionally timeless.

What’s striking is how confidently unadorned the title track is. The production on “The Reason” is clean but not thin, carrying a subtle weight that anchors Siwan’s soft, expressive vocals. The chorus lifts with a gentle, almost holiday-adjacent glow, never tipping into kitsch, but brushing against the season’s warmth. “The Reason” isn’t vying for song-of-the-year status, and that’s precisely its appeal. It offers three minutes of calm, clarity, and emotional ease, reaffirming that Siwan’s artistry thrives in quiet spaces as much as in the spotlight.
